CMIS now integrates with Public-i for webcasting

Astech are very happy to announce that CMIS now has the ability to synchronise with Public-I web-casting. By adding this functionality to CMIS, Astech's aim is to further streamline the democratic management process and free up officers time to deal with their actual workload, rather than administering different systems.

Astech demonstrated the new functionality to CMIS users attending the customer User Group Meeting held in August.

Conor Byrne-Jones, Head Of CMIS Applications, said:

“Astech always welcomes opportunities to partner and integrate with other suppliers of complementary services used by our clients. This way CMIS can deliver an enhanced level of enterprise integration which benefits our customers. In line with this, we are very happy to announce the seamless integration between Public-I’s market leading webcasting platform and CMIS’s committee management facilities which will make our mutual client’s workload lighter and increase public engagement with the democratic process. “

Lewis Broad-Asman, head of customer delivery at Public-I , said:

"The news that CMIS is now integrated with Public-i is very welcome. We are aware that this will be a big plus, particularly, for prospective clients. "Integrated document management and webcasting allows for seamless operation, and helping to reduce and duplicate data entry. It also improves client user experience and public engagement."
