Afternoon All
Attached after some delay, sorry about that!, are the minutes from the inaugural CMIS Steering Group meeting hosted by Milton Keynes Council on 21 January.
The next meeting of the Steering Group will be hosted by East Staffordshire District Council on 1 April. If anyone has any items for the Agenda please let me or Neale Hayes at Astech know.

CMIS Steering Group, Milton KeynesDue to the severe weather and the risk of travel disruption, we postponed the 3 December Steering Group meeting that was due to be hosted by Milton Keynes.
That meeting has now been re-arranged at Milton Keynes on Friday 21 January 2011.

Steering Group Meeting, 3 December - Milton Keynes

Colleagues
As announced at the 5 November User Group meeting, the inaugural meeting of the Steering Group will be held at Milton Keynes on 3 December.
It seems sensible to try and contain membership to no more than 6-8.
As well as myself, colleagues who have expressed a preference to become members are:
Colin Ismay (Essex), Mike Keay (Sandwell), Pete Keeley (Warwickshire), Matt Hussey (Luton), Simon Heap (Milton Keynes - as host authority), Andrea Costley (E Staffordshire) Phil O’Brien (Derby) and Graham Leach (Warwick) - Graham won’t be able to attend this meeting though. Astech will attend as well of course.

I really would like to ensure that the Forum is used as a vehicle to raise issues of both individual and mutual interest and so I am proposing that all suggested items for both the first and all future Agendas are initially posted on the Forum to enable all colleagues to get the heads up on the burning issues. Some of the issues I would like the Steering Group and Astech to discuss at the first meeting are: SMS messaging, self managed member web sites, webcasting integration, integration with blackberries/PDAs, e-consultation functionality and Facebook/Twitter links.

So please post your Agenda items here plus any other issues that you wish to raise so we can start to construct the Agenda. The final version will be posted on the Forum as well emailed individually to colleagues hopefully 7 days in advance i.e by 26 November.
